I am a fully qualified Bowen Therapist and Reiki Healer based in the Wirral. I first discovered the Bowen Technique in 2005. I had suffered from back and hip pain since I was a teenager and more recently had been experiencing unbearable pain in the lower lumbar region. I was recommended bowen by a friend and after the first treatment I was amazed by the results, and by the second treatment decided I would learn this incredible therapy. I went on to train with the European College Of Bowen Studies, Europe's leading and most established Bowen School. I have since trained in Reiki I and Reiki II and have enjoyed combining Reiki with my Bowen work. My previous work within the medical field includes being an auxiliary nurse in Hematology where I cared for patients with Leukaemia and other blood diseases and working as a Waiting List Coordinator at Bristol Royal Infirmary and St Michaels Hospital, managing consultants diaries and waiting lists for surgery. . Since qualifying I have continued professional development by attending a variety of workshops including postural assessment, Alexander Technique and Soft Tissue Release. I have worked as a practitioner at Positive Living Centre and Healing Rooms in Bristol and I am currently operating in Heswall and cover Wallasey and New Brighton areas.
